Help Clark County's homeless get a good night's rest

The Winter Hospitality Overflow (WHO) Program operates a shelter for single men, located at St. Paul Lutheran Church in downtown Vancouver. The men's shelter is open November-March each year.

We are looking for an individual or team to serve as laundry volunteers for the men's shelter. Every Monday from 7am-3pm, November-March, the week's bedding is laundered on-site, helping shelter guests to get the best possible nights' sleep.

This is a great opportunity for students, and avid readers! While you wait for laundry to finish washing and drying you can read a book, crochet, study for classes, or work on crossword puzzles.
