North Cascades Stewardship Coordinator

The North Cascades Stewardship Coordinator will lead a new stewardship program for youth and adults focusing on public lands in the North Cascades ecosystem. This position will assist in the creation of a hands-on focused stewardship program that will partner with Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and North Cascades National Park. The program will work with both adults and youth. The adult program will recruit and train a core of adults that will participate year round in stewardship activities such as invasive weed removal, river clean-up and trail maintenance.

Neighborhood House Parent Educator Assistant/SUN School Outreach Assistant. 10 hrs/wk for NH Parenting Program, 4 hrs/wk for Youth & Family Services’ Jackson SUN School. Summary: Responsible for providing outreach, parent education, support, advocacy, translation, interpretation and facilitation of parent child interactive play groups. Work with groups, including parent education, preparation of room and toys for play group sessions, and organization of materials. Assist Parent Educators in outreach activities. Maintain accurate, legible, and timely documentation of services. Make home visits with Parent Educator. Coordinate with Jackson SUN School Coordinator to support participant families with translation, interpretation, and assist at Jackson SUN family events.

Salary / Pay Rate:Starting hourly range: $10.25-12.20/hr. Non-exempt.

Volunteering

Volunteer with Impact NW's Holiday Drive 11/26!

Impact Northwest is looking for volunteers to help staff our Black Friday Donation Celebration on Friday, 11/26!

 

Volunteers will help collect and sort donations for children, teens, families and seniors as we celebrate our Holiday Toy and Gift drive in collaboration with KOIN Local 6, Toyota and NW Natural at Bridgeport Village in Tigard. Volunteers are needed for 2-3 hour shifts, between 9 am to 9 pm. Watch Santa drop off a gift for Impact Northwest, enjoy music by the Tom Grant Quartet and take part in Bridgeport Village’s Traditional Tree Lighting Ceremony, all while giving back to our community!
