Art and environment camp counselor position at SCRAP

Be a camp counselor for CAMP SCRAP! This SCRAP (the school and community reuse action project) is offering a art and environment education summer camp for the first time this year and we are hiring a LINKS AmeriCorps member to be a counselor! Teach kids about creative reuse, art, environment, sustainability field trips! great experience!

This is a 300 hour AmeriCorps volunteer position. You will receive a $1000 education award at the end of your placement, along with $150 in "SCRAP dollars" (good for an amazing amount of art supplies and cool stuff at SCRAP). There will be 3 40 weeks this summer, which accounts for 120 of your hours. the other hours will be spend starting May 1st, helping to plan for camp! these hours are flexible.
