Living Earth Benefit Bhakti Celebration

Living Earth is hosting a rare three day opportunity to delight in dharma talks and reminiscence of Ram Dass's contribution to American culture. Forty years ago, Ram Dass ignited the hearts of an American generation with the book, Be Here Now. Today, approaching his 80th birthday, Ram Dass is one of the West’s best-loved dharma teachers, an icon of spiritual exploration, conscious social action, and compassionate service (with a light-hearted rascal-trickster flair).

Got 2 hours? Be a greeter and help feed seniors

Loaves & Fishes, the Meals-On-Wheels people, needs volunteer greeters at grocery stores around the metro area, Nov. 20-24, to hand out fliers encouraging people to donate the cost of a senior's meal (just $3.68) to their grocery bill. Having a greeter at the store for just two hours has proven to increase donations enough to feed 70 seniors! To view the stores, days and shifts that need your support, visit www.donatedinner.org. Thank you!

TLC Farm seeks Tech Support

Our physical and social sustainability systems are based on the very latest in green-living, compassionate-communicating technologies, but our computer systems are Ancient. And really slow. And they drain energy that could otherwise be going into fulfilling our mission to be a point of support for the sustainability movement.

Therefore, we are looking for a person, or a couple of people, that can help us with one or both of the following:

1. Spending some regular time over the course of the next 3-6 weeks helping us source and install faster computers, upgrade and finetune our open source operating systems, and upgrade and integrate our server technology.
