Technical Contracts Administrator-Lower Columbia River Estuary Partne

The Lower Columbia River Estuary Partnership seeks a full-time Technical Contracts Administrator.  Position requires three years of experience in developing and managing contracts. Experience with water related natural resources and/or land use issues helpful.  A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field and at least two years of relevant experience preferred.

Hats & Scarves Project -- bravo!

In the past three weeks, nearly 100 beautiful newly crafted hats and scarves have been donated to Living Earth’s Hats & Scarves Winter Warming project. Practically every day this month, our donation basket at Seven Corners New Seasons has filled with soft, bright, new, hand-knit or crocheted items.  See www.livingearthgatherings.org  for more information

So far, all these wonderful warm things have all been distributed at two places in eastside Portland:

~ Raphael House in SE provides safe shelter for women and children fleeing domestic violence, often escaping with only the clothes on their backs.

Looking for a volunteer to help us trim our hedges!

 The bushes around our building got very hurt by the snow and ice last month, and we would love to have someone come help get them tied up, and trimmed.  Would you be available to come rescue them?  It shouldn’t take more than a couple hours at the most…

Request for Volunteers - Better Living Show March 27-29

Interested in volunteering for the Portland Better Living Show?

The Better Living Show is the Northwest’s largest sustainable lifestyle show, in its second year. There is FREE admission for the public, and we are looking for volunteers at the Expo Center who want to staff the recycling and compost centers, serve as greeters, stage and seminar hosts, job fair hosts, and more.

Show hours are

Friday March 27                12:00 – 9:00

Saturday March 28           11:00 – 9:00

Sunday march 29              11:00 – 5:00
