Are those summer weeds and endless kitchen scraps piling up on you, just begging to be turned into nutrient-rich “black gold” for your garden? Attend this class to learn the differences between food and yard waste compost and find out which bin system is right for you. Explore different options for easy home composting including worm bins, food digesters and multi-bin compost systems. Participants receive plans for building various compost systems and learn where to purchase pre-made bins locally. Take a step toward sustainable living and learn how to start up and maintain your own home composting system.
