Mortgage Default Intake Orientation

The Community Housing Resource Center will be holding a free Mortgage Default Orientation on Tuesday, August 10th, from 5-6PM at the Center. This workshop is the required first step in learning how to work with your lender and how the Center can assist you in getting help to resolve your mortgage issue. You need not be in default to attend. No reservations are required. For information, contact 360-690-4496 X105. The Community Housing Resource Center is a HUD certified, non-profit counseling/education center.

Volunteer at the PDX Habitat for Humanity

The Portland Metro Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a non-profit organization that resells re-usable building materials and supplies. All materials in our 20,000+ square foot warehouse are donated. Our inventory is extensive, and includes appliances, doors, windows, plumbing, electrical, all types of flooring, lumber and paint/stain. The proceeds go toward building simple, decent and affordable housing for low-income families.

Portland Riverfest Cleanup - Aug 21

Join the celebration! Take action to clean up the Willamette River as part of this year's Riverfest. Volunteers will work on the eastbank from the Morrison Bridge to OMSI, cleaning up debris and trash. Bags and gloves provided. Please register online at the SOLV website at http://bit.ly/a4VDuC. The Cleanup takes place on Saturday, August 21st from 9 am to 1 pm along the Eastbank Esplanade.
