Where:  Floyd's Coffee Shop - 118 NW Couch St

CNRG's Networking Night has moved this month to Floyd's Coffee Shop at 118 NW Couch St in Old Town. They serve delicious coffee based beverages, beer, and snacks. We will be in the private room in the back from 5:30 to 7pm. Come join us for a fun evening of networking!

Celebrate & Defend Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Liu Xiaobo

The 2010 Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to scholar and activist Liu Xiaobo of China. Liu is a prominent government critic who has repeatedly called for human rights protections, political accountability and democratization in China. He co-authored “Charter 08,” a proposal for political and legal reform in China. He is serving an 11-year prison sentence for “inciting subversion of state power”.

The Oregon Symphony seeks a key member of the Patron Services Team whose primary responsibility is to supervise an evening Teleservices Call Center. The Teleservices Manager is responsible for recruiting and training a staff of part time Symphony Customer Service Representatives and implementing strategies to achieve an annual Membership campaign of $600,000 as well as a subscription/ticketing campaign of $1,000,000.

Duties and Responsibilities • Supervision of 6-8 Symphony employees during 6 weekly shifts of 5 hours. • Recruitment, training, and monitoring the performance of these Customer Services Representatives. • Help develop and maintain an incentive bonus plan for callers.

Volunteer at Impact Northwest's Holiday Gift Drive Kick-Off 11/22!!

Impact Northwest is looking for volunteers to help staff our Holiday Toy and Gift Drive Kick-Off November 22nd from 11 AM - 1:30 PM at Lloyd Center! Volunteers will collect and sort donations as we celebrate the official start to our holiday toy and gift drive, in collaboration with Koin Local 6, Toyota and NW Natural. Growing Gardens is in need of volunteers to staff our information table at a City of Portland Fix it Fair.

 

Saturday, November 20 - Ron Russell Middle School (3955 SE 112th Ave.)

 

The Fix-it Fair goes from 8:30am-2pm. Volunteer shifts can be flexible.

Santa's Needed For CAT Holiday Fundraiser!

Come spread the holiday cheer for Santa Claws, an annual fundraiser, for the Cat Adoption Team!

 

This popular event gives PetSmart customers and their pets the chance to pose for a photo with "Santa Claws." For every "Santa Claws" photo package purchased during a CAT shift, PetSmart donates $5 directly to CAT.

 

We are currently looking for folks to be Santa at these locations:

 

-Tualatin PetSmart December 5th, 12th, and 19th from 11am-4pm.

 

-Hillsboro PetSmart December 4th from 11am-4pm.

 

-Wilsonville PetSmart December 5th from 11am-4pm.

 

No suit or beard is needed, all of these items are provided by PetSmart Charities for this annual fundraising event.
