An Action for Oregon - The 350 Climate Crisis Walk

Sea level rise from global warming threatens coastal communities around the world. To highlight this, a committed group of Oregonians will walk 350 miles along the Oregon coast. The route begins Sept. 20 near Coos Bay, goes to Astoria then ends in a rally Oct. 24 in Portland. The group will meet with local communities along the walk. If you are interested in walking for 35 days or in helping with this event work go to www.oregonpeaceworks.org and click on the third "Hot Item."

We need more walkers. Anyone can walk with us for a day or more, but the organizers can provide food and shelter only for full-time walkers.
