Ride Connection and Metropolitan Family Service are proud to collaborate to provide the accessible, responsive transportation services that enhance the community participation of older adults and people with disabilities. What exactly would global sustainability look like in today's complex world?

Portland Community Media's TV show on KBOO: Four Decades of Our Voices

We are looking for people who can give testimonies for us on KBOO for Portland Community Media's TV show from 7:30 pm and 8: 15 pm on September 25th (this Thursday). The program includes "History of KBOO, testimonies, and a panel disscussion". If you are interested in giving a testimony, please just show up at PCM (Studio 1). The program is part of PCM's studio class and you can also watch the panel discussion by KBOO manager, the program director, a board member and producers on KBOO's mission, celebration, program changes, etc (8:20-9:15 pm).

Blessing Animals by the River on St. Francis Day, Saturday, October 4th, 11 a.m. at Milwaukie Waterfront Park. (Parking lot at the water treatment center access road, McLoughlin at Washington Street or in Downtown Milwaukie and walk across McLoughlin to the park).

On St. Francis Day, the clergy of Milwaukie's St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church (est. on the banks of the Willamette in 1851) will bless dogs, cats, Canadian geese, wild fish, and any other creatures that present themselves in this park by the Willamette River (and their human companions).
